Antwerp meets Copenhagen

An academic cardiology symposium

vr, 01/03/2024 - 13:30 tot za, 02/03/2024 - 13:30
Auditorium Kinsbergen, Antwerp University Hospital / F. de Tassiszaal, Hof Van Liere (UAntwerpen)
Dear Colleague,

We cordially invite you to a new Antwerp Meets... symposium, this year with Copenhagen! The entire meeting will follow the format of the earlier “research meeting”, which was held on Friday afternoon. We draw on the research work of our own doctoral students and of those from other Flemish universities, together with their promotors, to highlight various cardiovascular novelties.

Each half-day will start with a state-of-the-art lecture by one of our two Copenhagen guests, Prof. Jacob Tfelt-Hansen and Prof. Bo Gregers Winkel. They will also contribute to the discussions after the presentations by the PhD students. Friday afternoon, March 1, 2-6 p.m., focuses on 'basic research and cardiogenetics'; Saturday morning March 2 (9am-1pm) covers 'clinical-cardiological' topics. The meetings are open to all who is interested.

Friday afternoon will take place in the Kinsbergen auditorium in the UZA, Saturday in the F. de Tassiszaal of the Hof Van Liere of the University of Antwerp (Prinsstraat 13).

Looking forward to meeting you in Antwerp!
