Volgens de wet op transplantatie dd 23/11/2012 is ieder Transplantatiecentrum verplicht een interne transplantatieraad op te richten.

Opdrachten van de interne transplantatieraad

• De coördinatie van de opvolging van de verscheidene transplantatieprogramma’s in samenwerking met de behandelende geneesheren.
• Verzameling van kwalitatieve indicatoren m.b.t. prelevatie en transplantatie, inzonderheid inzake de selectie van de receptoren.
