If you are a victim of sexual violence, it’s important to seek help immediately. This is often a big step, but you deserve that help. Know that you are not alone. We are here for you.

You can visit a Care Centre after Sexual Violence (CCSV) in complete confidentiality for medical care, psychological support and a forensic examination after sexual violence. We are also happy to help you here if you want to report it to the police. Together we will look at what kind of help you need and you can choose which actions you want to take. The sooner you seek help, the better we can help you.

If you wish, feel free to bring along a trusted person (partner, close friend or family member) who supports you.

You can go to the Care Centre after Sexual Violence (CCSV) for:

  • further counselling from the psychologist for the Care Centers after Sexual Violence

Medical care

  • care of wounds and injuries
  • investigating and treating all kinds of physical, sexual or reproductive consequences

 Forensic investigation

Care centre after Sexual Violence at the UZA: all care and aftercare under one warm roof

You can always visit the Care Centre after Sexual Violence Antwerp at Zorghotel Drie Eiken, on the site of the UZA. It is a warm and homelike place, where you can receive care day and night from a multidisciplinary team. The forensic nurses play an important role as the first point of contact and connection between the various departments at the UZA. Where necessary, they call in additional help from emergency doctors, gynaecologists, urologists, paediatricians, geriatricians, psychiatrists or specialised psychologists. You also always have the option to file a report here. Specially trained vice inspectors will then come to the care centre to take your statement. In addition, there is an aftercare programme where, if you wish, you will be further monitored psychologically.
