Scientific Misconduct Policy
Research in the Antwerp University Hospital is grounded upon the principles of academic freedom and mutual trust. High ethical standards in the conduct of research and other academic pursuits are maintained. The “code of ethics for scientific research” as published by the Royal Academy of Science, the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and Arts and the Royal Academy of Medicine in Belgium form the basic principles following which research is conducted (see addendum).
Misconduct in research is a fundamental violation of this trust and represents an assault upon the integrity of the University Hospital community.
