Dear Colleague,
We cordially invite you to the Antwerp Academic Cardiology Symposium organised by the University Hospital Antwerp (UZA) and the Cardiology departments of all the Antwerp hospitals (ZNA Ziekenhuisnetwerk Antwerpen; GZA Gasthuiszusters Antwerpen; and AZ Klina, AZ Monica, Ziekenhuis St. Dimpna Geel and AZ Voorkempen Malle of the Universitair Cardiologisch Netwerk Antwerpen UCNA).
This year we will host colleagues from Barcelona, Spain!
As usual for our symposium, speakers will start from specific patient cases, while illustrating how (their own) research leads to new ways to tackle such daily clinical situations. We guarantee you a great learning experience.
Last year’s hybrid meeting was a great success. Therefore, you can feel free to enjoy the meeting in the unique grandeur of the Elisabeth Center at the Zoo of Antwerp or following it online. COVID-19 restrictions at that moment will guide us on the size of the local audience that will be allowed. We will communicate that later.
Looking forward to meeting you in Antwerp!
Also on behalf of Prof. dr. Paul Vermeersch (ZNA), dr. Roeland Vercauteren (GZA), dr. Frank Cools (AZ Klina), dr. Peter Surmont (AZ Monica), dr. Jan Vermeulen (Ziekenhuis St. Dimpna Geel) and the cardiologists of AZ Voorkempen, Malle,
Prof. dr. Hein Heidbuchel
Chair of Cardiology, UZA
Coordinator, UCNA
